Blessed to be a blessing

Through IMPAC, Christians involved in performing arts, visual arts, sports, technology, medicine, and other professional careers; travel to low-income communities across the world to share the love of Christ – using their gifts and talents as tools to host evangelism outreaches, and address the social and economic needs of families. IMPAC greatly concentrates on the population of youth and aims to see the salvation of souls, education access, physical wellness, eradication of poverty, correction of maladaptive behaviours and repair of defective social values.

PRAY FOR TRINIDAD  

  • One-fourth of the nation of Trinidad is identified as Protestant, another-fourth is Roman Catholic, while the remaining population comprises Hindus and Muslims.
  • The variety of religions in Trinidad results in syncretistic beliefs within the Christian Church, including witchcraft, which is accepted within the culture.
  • High unemployment rates for youth in Trinidad are resulting in growing violent crime, especially related to drug trafficking.
  • Women in Trinidad are objectified. The culture emphasizes physical beauty. It is common for men to sexually harass women in public, and women risk the loss of social status if they respond.
  • The country of Trinidad has one of the highest incidences of HIV/AIDS in the world.
